۞
34:46:3ʾaʕiẓukumI advise you
34:46:4biwāḥidaẗⁱⁿfor one (thing),
34:46:7lillahⁱfor Allah
34:46:8maθnā(in) pairs
34:46:9wafurādāand (as) individuals,
34:46:10θummᵃthen
34:46:13biṣāḥibikum(is in) your companion
34:46:15jinnaẗⁱⁿmadness.
34:46:18ʾillā(is) except
34:46:19naðīrᵘⁿa warner
34:46:23ʕaðābⁱⁿa punishment
34:46:24šadīdⁱⁿsevere."
۝٤٦
Say, "I only advise you of one [thing] - that you stand for Allah, [seeking truth] in pairs and individually, and then give thought." There is not in your companion any madness. He is only a warner to you before a severe punishment.
34:47:3saʾaltukumI ask you
34:47:5ʾajrⁱⁿany payment,
34:47:6fahuwᵃbut it (is)
34:47:7lakumfor you.
34:47:9ʾajrīᵃ(is) my payment
34:47:12ₐllahⁱAllah.
34:47:13wahuwᵃAnd He
34:47:14ʕalā(is) over
34:47:16šayʾⁱⁿthings
34:47:17šahīdᵘⁿa Witness."
۝٤٧
Say, "Whatever payment I might have asked of you - it is yours. My payment is only from Allah, and He is, over all things, Witness."
34:48:2ʾinnᵃ"Indeed,
34:48:3rabbīmy Lord
34:48:4yaqðifᵘprojects
34:48:5biₐlḥaqqⁱthe truth,
34:48:6ʕallāmᵘ(the) All-Knower
34:48:7ₐlġuyūbⁱ(of) the unseen."
۝٤٨
Say, "Indeed, my Lord projects the truth. Knower of the unseen."
34:49:2jāʾᵃ"Has come
34:49:3ₐlḥaqqᵘthe truth
34:49:4wamāand not
34:49:5yubdiʾᵘ(can) originate
34:49:6ₐlbāṭilᵘthe falsehood
34:49:7wamāand not
34:49:8yuʕīdᵘrepeat."
۝٤٩
Say, "The truth has come, and falsehood can neither begin [anything] nor repeat [it]."
34:50:3ḍalaltᵘI err,
34:50:4faʾinnamāthen only
34:50:5ʾaḍillᵘI will err
34:50:6ʕalāagainst
34:50:8waʾinⁱBut if
34:50:9ᵢhtadaytᵘI am guided,
34:50:10fabimāthen it is by what
34:50:11yūḥīreveals
34:50:12ʾilayyᵃto me
34:50:14ʾinnahuIndeed, He
34:50:15samīʕᵘⁿ(is) All-Hearer,
34:50:16qarībᵘⁿEver-Near."
۝٥٠
Say, "If I should err, I would only err against myself. But if I am guided, it is by what my Lord reveals to me. Indeed, He is Hearing and near."
34:51:2tarāyou (could) see
34:51:4faziʕūthey will be terrified
34:51:5falābut (there will be) no
34:51:6fawtᵃescape,
34:51:7waʾuḫiðūand they will be seized
34:51:9mmakānⁱⁿa place
34:51:10qarībⁱⁿnear.
۝٥١
And if you could see when they are terrified but there is no escape, and they will be seized from a place nearby.
34:52:1waqālūAnd they will say,
34:52:2ʾāmannā"We believe
34:52:5lahumᵘfor them
34:52:6ₐlttanāwušᵘ(will be) the receiving
34:52:8mmakānⁱⁿa place
34:52:9baʕīdⁱⁿfar off?
۝٥٢
And they will [then] say, "We believe in it!" But how for them will be the taking [of faith] from a place far away?
34:53:1waqadAnd certainly,
34:53:2kafarūthey disbelieved
34:53:4minbefore.
34:53:6wayaqðifūnᵃAnd they utter conjectures
34:53:7biₐlġaybⁱabout the unseen
34:53:9mmakānⁱⁿa place
34:53:10baʕīdⁱⁿfar off.
۝٥٣
And they had already disbelieved in it before and would assault the unseen from a place far away.
34:54:1waḥīlᵃAnd a barrier will be placed
34:54:2baynahumbetween them
34:54:3wabaynᵃand between
34:54:5yaštahūnᵃthey desire,
34:54:7fuʕilᵃwas done
34:54:8biʾašyāʕihimwith their kind
34:54:9mminbefore.
34:54:11ʾinnahumIndeed, they
34:54:14šakkⁱⁿdoubt
34:54:15mmurībⁱⁿdisquieting.
۝٥٤
And prevention will be placed between them and what they desire, as was done with their kind before. Indeed, they were in disquieting denial.

فاطر
The Originator
بِسْمِ ٱللَّهِ ٱلرَّحْمَٰنِ ٱلرَّحِيمِ
35:1:1ₐlḥamdᵘAll praises
35:1:2lillahⁱ(be) to Allah,
35:1:3fāṭirⁱOriginator
35:1:4ₐlssamāwātⁱ(of) the heavens
35:1:5waₐlʾarḍⁱand the earth,
35:1:6jāʕilⁱ(Who) makes
35:1:7ₐlmalāʾikaẗⁱthe Angels
35:1:8rusulaⁿmessengers
35:1:9ʾulīhaving wings
35:1:10ʾajniḥaẗⁱⁿ
35:1:12waθulāθᵃor three
35:1:13warubāʕᵃor four.
35:1:14yazīdᵘHe increases
35:1:16ₐlḫalqⁱthe creation
35:1:18yašāʾᵘHe wills.
35:1:19ʾinnᵃIndeed,
35:1:20ₐllahᵃAllah
35:1:21ʕalā(is) on
35:1:22kullⁱevery
35:1:23šayʾⁱⁿthing
35:1:24qadīrᵘⁿAll-Powerful.
۝١
[All] praise is [due] to Allah, Creator of the heavens and the earth, [who] made the angels messengers having wings, two or three or four. He increases in creation what He wills. Indeed, Allah is over all things competent.
35:2:2yaftaḥⁱAllah grants
35:2:4lilnnāsⁱto mankind
35:2:6rraḥmaẗⁱⁿMercy,
35:2:7falāthen none
35:2:8mumsikᵃ(can) withhold
35:2:10wamāAnd what
35:2:11yumsikHe withholds,
35:2:12falāthen none
35:2:13mursilᵃ(can) release
35:2:15minᵐthereafter.
35:2:17wahuwᵃAnd He
35:2:18ₐlʕazīzᵘ(is) the All-Mighty,
35:2:19ₐlḥakīmᵘthe All-Wise.
۝٢
Whatever Allah grants to people of mercy - none can withhold it; and whatever He withholds - none can release it thereafter. And He is the Exalted in Might, the Wise.
35:3:2ₐlnnāsᵘmankind!
35:3:3ᵤðkurūRemember
35:3:4niʕmatᵃ(the) Favor
35:3:5ₐllahⁱ(of) Allah
35:3:6ʕalaykumupon you.
35:3:8min(there) any
35:3:9ḫāliqⁱⁿcreator
35:3:10ġayrᵘother (than) Allah
35:3:12yarzuqukumwho provides for you
35:3:14ₐlssamāʾⁱthe sky
35:3:15waₐlʾarḍⁱand the earth?
35:3:16(There is) no
35:3:20faʾannāThen, how
35:3:21tuʾfakūnᵃ(are) you deluded?
۝٣
O mankind, remember the favor of Allah upon you. Is there any creator other than Allah who provides for you from the heaven and earth? There is no deity except Him, so how are you deluded?
35:4:1waʾinAnd if
35:4:2yukaððibūkᵃthey deny you,
35:4:3faqadthen certainly
35:4:4kuððibatwere denied
35:4:5rusulᵘⁿMessengers
35:4:6mminbefore you.
35:4:8waʾilāAnd to
35:4:9ₐllahⁱAllah
35:4:10turjaʕᵘreturn
35:4:11ₐlʾumūrᵘthe matters.
۝٤
And if they deny you, [O Muhammad] - already were messengers denied before you. And to Allah are returned [all] matters.
35:5:2ₐlnnāsᵘmankind!
35:5:3ʾinnᵃIndeed,
35:5:4waʕdᵃ(the) promise
35:5:5ₐllahⁱ(of) Allah
35:5:6ḥaqqᵘⁿ(is) true.
35:5:7falāSo (let) not
35:5:8taġurrannakumᵘdeceive you
35:5:9ₐlḥayawẗᵘthe life
35:5:10ₐlddunyā(of) the world,
35:5:11walāand (let) not
35:5:12yaġurrannakumdeceive you
35:5:13biₐllahⁱabout Allah
35:5:14ₐlġarūrᵘthe Deceiver.
۝٥
O mankind, indeed the promise of Allah is truth, so let not the worldly life delude you and be not deceived about Allah by the Deceiver.
35:6:1ʾinnᵃIndeed,
35:6:2ₐlššayṭānᵃthe Shaitaan
35:6:3lakum(is) to you
35:6:4ʕaduwwᵘⁿan enemy,
35:6:5faᵢttaḫiðūhᵘso take him
35:6:6ʕaduwwaⁿ(as) an enemy.
35:6:8yadʕūhe invites
35:6:9ḥizbahuhis party
35:6:10liyakūnūthat they may be
35:6:12ʾaṣḥābⁱ(the) companions
35:6:13ₐlssaʕīrⁱ(of) the Blaze.
۝٦
Indeed, Satan is an enemy to you; so take him as an enemy. He only invites his party to be among the companions of the Blaze.
35:7:1ₐllaðīnᵃThose who
35:7:2kafarūdisbelieve,
35:7:3lahumfor them
35:7:4ʕaðābᵘⁿ(will be) a punishment
35:7:5šadīdᵘⁿsevere,
35:7:6waₐllaðīnᵃand those
35:7:7ʾāmanūwho believe
35:7:9ₐlṣṣāliḥātⁱrighteous deeds,
35:7:10lahumfor them
35:7:11mmaġfiraẗᵘⁿ(will be) forgiveness
35:7:12waʾajrᵘⁿand a reward
35:7:13kabīrᵘⁿgreat.
۝٧
Those who disbelieve will have a severe punishment, and those who believe and do righteous deeds will have forgiveness and great reward.
35:8:1ʾafamanThen is (he) who -
35:8:2zuyyinᵃis made fair-seeming
35:8:4sūʾᵘ(the) evil
35:8:5ʕamalihi(of) his deed -
35:8:6faraʾāhᵘso that he sees it
35:8:7ḥasanaⁿ(as) good?
35:8:8faʾinnᵃFor indeed,
35:8:9ₐllahᵃAllah
35:8:10yuḍillᵘlets go astray
35:8:12yašāʾᵘHe wills
35:8:13wayahdīand guides
35:8:15yašāʾᵘHe wills.
35:8:16falāSo (let) not
35:8:18nafsukᵃyour soul
35:8:20ḥasarātⁱⁿ(in) regrets.
35:8:21ʾinnᵃIndeed,
35:8:22ₐllahᵃAllah
35:8:23ʕalīmᵘⁿᵐ(is) All-Knower
35:8:24bimāof what
35:8:25yaṣnaʕūnᵃthey do.
۝٨
Then is one to whom the evil of his deed has been made attractive so he considers it good [like one rightly guided]? For indeed, Allah sends astray whom He wills and guides whom He wills. So do not let yourself perish over them in regret. Indeed, Allah is Knowing of what they do.
35:9:1waₐllahᵘAnd Allah
35:9:2ₐllaðī(is) the One Who
35:9:3ʾarsalᵃsends
35:9:4ₐlrriyāḥᵃthe winds
35:9:5fatuθīrᵘso that they raise
35:9:6saḥābaⁿ(the) clouds,
35:9:7fasuqnāhᵘand We drive them
35:9:9baladⁱⁿa land
35:9:10mmayyitⁱⁿdead
35:9:11faʾaḥyaynāand We revive
35:9:12bihⁱtherewith
35:9:13ₐlʾarḍᵃthe earth
35:9:14baʕdᵃafter
35:9:15mawtihāits death.
35:9:17ₐlnnušūrᵘ(will be) the Resurrection.
۝٩
And it is Allah who sends the winds, and they stir the clouds, and We drive them to a dead land and give life thereby to the earth after its lifelessness. Thus is the resurrection.
35:10:1manWhoever
35:10:2kānᵃ[is] desires
35:10:4ₐlʕizzaẗᵃthe honor,
35:10:5falillahⁱthen for Allah
35:10:6ₐlʕizzaẗᵘ(is) the Honor
35:10:8ʾilayhⁱTo Him
35:10:9yaṣʕadᵘascends
35:10:10ₐlkalimᵘthe words
35:10:11ₐlṭṭayyibᵘgood,
35:10:12waₐlʕamalᵘand the deed
35:10:13ₐlṣṣāliḥᵘrighteous
35:10:14yarfaʕuhuraises it.
35:10:15waₐllaðīnᵃBut those who
35:10:17ₐlssayyiʾātⁱthe evil,
35:10:19ʕaðābᵘⁿ(is) a punishment
35:10:20šadīdᵘⁿsevere,
35:10:21wamakrᵘand (the) plotting
35:10:22ʾulāʾikᵃ(of) those -
35:10:24yabūrᵘ(will) perish.
۝١٠
Whoever desires honor [through power] - then to Allah belongs all honor. To Him ascends good speech, and righteous work raises it. But they who plot evil deeds will have a severe punishment, and the plotting of those - it will perish.
35:11:1waₐllahᵘAnd Allah
35:11:2ḫalaqakumcreated you
35:11:4turābⁱⁿdust,
35:11:5θummᵃthen
35:11:7nnuṭfaẗⁱⁿa semen-drop;
35:11:8θummᵃthen
35:11:9jaʕalakumHe made you
35:11:11wamāAnd not
35:11:12taḥmilᵘconceives
35:11:15walāand not
35:11:16taḍaʕᵘgives birth
35:11:18biʕilmihiwith His knowledge.
35:11:19wamāAnd not
35:11:20yuʕammarᵘis granted life
35:11:22mmuʕammarⁱⁿaged person
35:11:23walāand not
35:11:24yunqaṣᵘis lessened
35:11:28(is) in
35:11:29kitābⁱⁿa Register.
35:11:30ʾinnᵃIndeed,
35:11:33ₐllahⁱAllah
35:11:34yasīrᵘⁿ(is) easy.
۝١١
And Allah created you from dust, then from a sperm-drop; then He made you mates. And no female conceives nor does she give birth except with His knowledge. And no aged person is granted [additional] life nor is his lifespan lessened but that it is in a register. Indeed, that for Allah is easy.
35:12:1wamāAnd not
35:12:2yastawīare alike
35:12:3ₐlbaḥrānⁱthe two seas.
35:12:5ʕaðbᵘⁿ(is) fresh,
35:12:6furātᵘⁿsweet,
35:12:7sāʾiġᵘⁿpleasant
35:12:8šarābuhuits drink,
35:12:9wahāðāand this
35:12:10milḥᵘⁿsalty
35:12:11ʾujājᵘⁿ(and) bitter.
35:12:12waminAnd from
35:12:13kullⁱⁿeach
35:12:14taʾkulūnᵃyou eat
35:12:16ṭariyyaⁿfresh
35:12:17watastaḫrijūnᵃand you extract
35:12:18ḥilyaẗᵃⁿornaments
35:12:19talbasūnahāyou wear them,
35:12:20watarāand you see
35:12:21ₐlfulkᵃthe ships
35:12:22fīhⁱin it,
35:12:23mawāḫirᵃcleaving,
35:12:24litabtaġūso that you may seek
35:12:26faḍlihiHis Bounty,
35:12:27walaʕallakumand that you may
35:12:28taškurūnᵃbe grateful.
۝١٢
And not alike are the two bodies of water. One is fresh and sweet, palatable for drinking, and one is salty and bitter. And from each you eat tender meat and extract ornaments which you wear, and you see the ships plowing through [them] that you might seek of His bounty; and perhaps you will be grateful.
35:13:1yūlijᵘHe causes to enter
35:13:2ₐllaylᵃthe night
35:13:3in (to)
35:13:4ₐlnnahārⁱthe day
35:13:5wayūlijᵘand He causes to enter
35:13:6ₐlnnahārᵃthe day
35:13:7in (to)
35:13:8ₐllaylⁱthe night,
35:13:9wasaḫḫarᵃand He has subjected
35:13:10ₐlššamsᵃthe sun
35:13:11waₐlqamarᵃand the moon
35:13:12kullᵘⁿeach
35:13:14liʾajalⁱⁿfor a term
35:13:15mmusammaⁿappointed.
35:13:16ðālikumᵘThat (is)
35:13:17ₐllahᵘAllah,
35:13:18rabbukumyour Lord,
35:13:19lahᵘfor Him
35:13:20ₐlmulkᵘ(is) the Dominion.
35:13:21waₐllaðīnᵃAnd those whom
35:13:22tadʕūnᵃyou invoke
35:13:23minbesides Him,
35:13:26yamlikūnᵃthey possess
35:13:28qiṭmīrⁱⁿ(as much as) the membrane of a date-seed.
۝١٣
He causes the night to enter the day, and He causes the day to enter the night and has subjected the sun and the moon - each running [its course] for a specified term. That is Allah, your Lord; to Him belongs sovereignty. And those whom you invoke other than Him do not possess [as much as] the membrane of a date seed.
35:14:2tadʕūhumyou invoke them
35:14:5duʕāʾakumyour call;
35:14:7samiʕūthey heard,
35:14:9ᵢstajābūthey (would) respond
35:14:11wayawmᵃAnd (on the) Day
35:14:12ₐlqiyāmaẗⁱ(of) the Resurrection
35:14:13yakfurūnᵃthey will deny
35:14:14biširkikumyour association.
35:14:15walāAnd none
35:14:16yunabbiʾukᵃcan inform you
35:14:18ḫabīrⁱⁿ(the) All-Aware.
۝١٤
If you invoke them, they do not hear your supplication; and if they heard, they would not respond to you. And on the Day of Resurrection they will deny your association. And none can inform you like [one] Acquainted [with all matters].
