بِسْمِ ٱللَّهِ ٱلرَّحْمَٰنِ ٱلرَّحِيمِ
75:1:4ₐlqiyāmaẗⁱ(of) the Resurrection. ١
I swear by the Day of Resurrection
75:2:4ₐllawwāmaẗⁱself-accusing. ٢
And I swear by the reproaching soul [to the certainty of resurrection].
75:3:4nnajmaʕᵃWe will assemble ٣
Does man think that We will not assemble his bones?
Yes. [We are] Able [even] to proportion his fingertips.
75:5:4liyafjurᵃto give (the) lie 75:5:5ʾamāmahu(to) what is before him. ٥
But man desires to continue in sin.
75:6:4ₐlqiyāmaẗⁱ(of) the Resurrection?" ٦
He asks, "When is the Day of Resurrection?"
So when vision is dazzled
75:8:1waḫasafᵃAnd becomes dark ٨
And the moon darkens
And the sun and the moon are joined,
Man will say on that Day, "Where is the [place of] escape?"
75:12:4ₐlmustaqarrᵘ(is) the place of rest. ١٢
To your Lord, that Day, is the [place of] permanence.
Man will be informed that Day of what he sent ahead and kept back.
75:14:5baṣīraẗᵘⁿ(will be) a witness. ١٤
Rather, man, against himself, will be a witness,
Even if he presents his excuses.
Move not your tongue with it, [O Muhammad], to hasten with recitation of the Qur'an.
75:17:4waqurʾānahuand its recitation. ١٧
Indeed, upon Us is its collection [in your heart] and [to make possible] its recitation.
75:18:2qaraʾnāhᵘWe have recited it, ١٨
So when We have recited it [through Gabriel], then follow its recitation.
75:19:4bayānahu(is) its explanation. ١٩
Then upon Us is its clarification [to you].
No! But you love the immediate
75:22:3nnāḍiraẗᵘⁿ(will be) radiant, ٢٢
[Some] faces, that Day, will be radiant,
75:24:3bāsiraẗᵘⁿ(will be) distorted, ٢٤
And [some] faces, that Day, will be contorted,
Expecting that there will be done to them [something] backbreaking.
No! When the soul has reached the collar bones
And it is said, "Who will cure [him]?"
And the dying one is certain that it is the [time of] separation
And the leg is wound about the leg,
75:30:4ₐlmasāqᵘ(will be) the driving. ٣٠
To your Lord, that Day, will be the procession.
75:31:2ṣaddaqᵃhe accepted (the) truth ٣١
And the disbeliever had not believed, nor had he prayed.
But [instead], he denied and turned away.
And then he went to his people, swaggering [in pride].
Then woe to you, and woe!
Does man think that he will be left neglected?
Had he not been a sperm from semen emitted?
75:38:3ʕalaqaẗᵃⁿa clinging substance, ٣٨
Then he was a clinging clot, and [Allah] created [his form] and proportioned [him]
And made of him two mates, the male and the female.
Is not that [Creator] Able to give life to the dead?
بِسْمِ ٱللَّهِ ٱلرَّحْمَٰنِ ٱلرَّحِيمِ
Has there [not] come upon man a period of time when he was not a thing [even] mentioned?
76:2:7nnabtalīhⁱ(that) We test him; 76:2:8fajaʕalnāhᵘso We made (for) him ٢
Indeed, We created man from a sperm-drop mixture that We may try him; and We made him hearing and seeing.
76:3:7kafūraⁿ(he) be ungrateful. ٣
Indeed, We guided him to the way, be he grateful or be he ungrateful.
76:4:2ʾaʕtadnā[We] have prepared 76:4:3lilkāfirīnᵃfor the disbelievers 76:4:6wasaʕīraⁿand a Blazing Fire. ٤
Indeed, We have prepared for the disbelievers chains and shackles and a blaze.
Indeed, the righteous will drink from a cup [of wine] whose mixture is of Kafur,
76:6:6yufajjirūnahācausing it to gush forth ٦
A spring of which the [righteous] servants of Allah will drink; they will make it gush forth in force [and abundance].
They [are those who] fulfill [their] vows and fear a Day whose evil will be widespread.
76:8:1wayuṭʕimūnᵃAnd they feed 76:8:6wayatīmaⁿand (the) orphan 76:8:7waʾasīraⁿand (the) captive, ٨
And they give food in spite of love for it to the needy, the orphan, and the captive,
76:9:3liwajhⁱfor (the) Countenance ٩
[Saying], "We feed you only for the countenance of Allah. We wish not from you reward or gratitude.
Indeed, We fear from our Lord a Day austere and distressful."
76:11:1fawaqāhumᵘBut will protect them 76:11:6walaqqāhumand will cause them to meet ١١
So Allah will protect them from the evil of that Day and give them radiance and happiness
76:12:1wajazāhumAnd will reward them ١٢
And will reward them for what they patiently endured [with] a garden [in Paradise] and silk [garments].
[They will be] reclining therein on adorned couches. They will not see therein any [burning] sun or [freezing] cold.
76:14:5quṭūfuhāits cluster of fruits ١٤
And near above them are its shades, and its [fruit] to be picked will be lowered in compliance.
76:15:1wayuṭāfᵘAnd will be circulated ١٥
And there will be circulated among them vessels of silver and cups having been [created] clear [as glass],
76:16:4qaddarūhāThey will determine its ١٦
Clear glasses [made] from silver of which they have determined the measure.
76:17:1wayusqawnᵃAnd they will be given to drink ١٧
And they will be given to drink a cup [of wine] whose mixture is of ginger
[From] a fountain within Paradise named Salsabeel.
