۞
21:83:1waʾayyūbᵃAnd Ayub,
21:83:3nādāhe called
21:83:4rabbahu(to) his Lord,
21:83:5ʾannī"Indeed, [I]
21:83:6massanīᵃhas touched me
21:83:7ₐlḍḍurrᵘthe adversity,
21:83:8waʾantᵃand You
21:83:9ʾarḥamᵘ(are) Most Merciful
21:83:10ₐlrrāḥimīnᵃ(of) the Merciful."
۝٨٣
And [mention] Job, when he called to his Lord, "Indeed, adversity has touched me, and you are the Most Merciful of the merciful."
21:84:1faᵢstajabnāSo We responded
21:84:3fakašafnāand We removed
21:84:5bihi(was) on him
21:84:7ḍurrⁱⁿ(the) adversity.
21:84:8waʾātaynāhᵘAnd We gave him
21:84:9ʾahlahuhis family
21:84:10wamiθlahumand (the) like thereof
21:84:11mmaʕahumwith them
21:84:12raḥmaẗᵃⁿ(as) Mercy
21:84:13mminfrom Ourselves,
21:84:15waðikrāand a reminder
21:84:16lilʕābidīnᵃfor the worshippers.
۝٨٤
So We responded to him and removed what afflicted him of adversity. And We gave him [back] his family and the like thereof with them as mercy from Us and a reminder for the worshippers [of Allah].
21:85:1waʾismāʕīlᵃAnd Ishmael
21:85:2waʾidrīsᵃand Idris
21:85:3waðāand Dhul-Kifl;
21:85:5kullᵘⁿall
21:85:6mminᵃ(were) of
21:85:7ₐlṣṣābirīnᵃthe patient ones.
۝٨٥
And [mention] Ishmael and Idrees and Dhul-Kifl; all were of the patient.
21:86:1waʾadḫalnāhumAnd We admitted them
21:86:3raḥmatināOur Mercy.
21:86:4ʾinnahumIndeed, they
21:86:5mminᵃ(were) of
21:86:6ₐlṣṣāliḥīnᵃthe righteous.
۝٨٦
And We admitted them into Our mercy. Indeed, they were of the righteous.
21:87:1waðāAnd Dhun-Nun
21:87:3ʾiðwhen
21:87:4ððahabᵃhe went
21:87:5muġāḍibaⁿ(while) angry
21:87:6faẓannᵃand thought
21:87:9nnaqdirᵃWe would decree
21:87:10ʕalayhⁱupon him.
21:87:11fanādāThen he called
21:87:13ₐlẓẓulumātⁱthe darkness(es)
21:87:15llā"(There is) no
21:87:18ʾantᵃYou,
21:87:19subḥānakᵃGlory be to You!
21:87:20ʾinnīIndeed, [I]
21:87:23ₐlẓẓālimīnᵃthe wrongdoers."
۝٨٧
And [mention] the man of the fish, when he went off in anger and thought that We would not decree [anything] upon him. And he called out within the darknesses, "There is no deity except You; exalted are You. Indeed, I have been of the wrongdoers."
21:88:1faᵢstajabnāSo We responded
21:88:3wanajjaynāhᵘand We saved him
21:88:4minᵃfrom
21:88:5ₐlġammⁱthe distress.
21:88:6wakaðālikᵃAnd thus
21:88:8ₐlmuʾminīnᵃthe believers.
۝٨٨
So We responded to him and saved him from the distress. And thus do We save the believers.
21:89:1wazakariyyāAnd Zakariya,
21:89:3nādāhe called
21:89:4rabbahu(to) his Lord,
21:89:5rabbⁱ"My Lord!
21:89:6(Do) not
21:89:7taðarnīleave me
21:89:8fardaⁿalone,
21:89:9waʾantᵃwhile You
21:89:10ḫayrᵘ(are) [the] Best
21:89:11ₐlwāriθīnᵃ(of) the inheritors."
۝٨٩
And [mention] Zechariah, when he called to his Lord, "My Lord, do not leave me alone [with no heir], while you are the best of inheritors."
21:90:1faᵢstajabnāSo We responded
21:90:3wawahabnāand We bestowed
21:90:6waʾaṣlaḥnāand We cured
21:90:9ʾinnahumIndeed, they
21:90:13ₐlḫayrātⁱgood deeds,
21:90:14wayadʕūnanāand they supplicate to Us
21:90:15raġabaⁿ(in) hope
21:90:16warahabaⁿand fear,
21:90:17wakānūand they were
21:90:19ḫāšiʕīnᵃhumbly submissive.
۝٩٠
So We responded to him, and We gave to him John, and amended for him his wife. Indeed, they used to hasten to good deeds and supplicate Us in hope and fear, and they were to Us humbly submissive.
21:91:1waₐllatīAnd she who
21:91:2ʾaḥṣanatguarded
21:91:3farjahāher chastity,
21:91:4fanafaḫnāso We breathed
21:91:5fīhāinto her
21:91:7rrūḥināOur Spirit,
21:91:8wajaʕalnāhāand We made her
21:91:9waᵢbnahāand her son
21:91:10ʾāyaẗᵃⁿa sign
21:91:11llilʕālamīnᵃfor the worlds.
۝٩١
And [mention] the one who guarded her chastity, so We blew into her [garment] through Our angel [Gabriel], and We made her and her son a sign for the worlds.
21:92:1ʾinnᵃIndeed,
21:92:3ʾummatukum(is) your religion -
21:92:4ʾummaẗᵃⁿreligion
21:92:5wāḥidaẗᵃⁿone,
21:92:6waʾanāand I Am
21:92:7rabbukumyour Lord,
21:92:8faᵤʕbudūnⁱso worship Me.
۝٩٢
Indeed this, your religion, is one religion, and I am your Lord, so worship Me.
21:93:1wataqaṭṭaʕūBut they cut off
21:93:2ʾamrahumtheir affair
21:93:3baynahumamong themselves,
21:93:4kullᵘⁿall
21:93:6rājiʕūnᵃ(will) return.
۝٩٣
And [yet] they divided their affair among themselves, [but] all to Us will return.
21:94:1famanThen whoever
21:94:3minᵃ[of]
21:94:4ₐlṣṣāliḥātⁱ[the] righteous deeds
21:94:5wahuwᵃwhile he
21:94:6muʾminᵘⁿ(is) a believer
21:94:7falāthen not
21:94:8kufrānᵃ(will be) rejected
21:94:9lisaʕyihi[of] his effort.
21:94:10waʾinnāAnd indeed, We
21:94:12kātibūnᵃ(are) Recorders.
۝٩٤
So whoever does righteous deeds while he is a believer - no denial will there be for his effort, and indeed We, of it, are recorders.
21:95:1waḥarāmᵘⁿAnd (there is) prohibition
21:95:3qaryaẗⁱⁿa city
21:95:4ʾahlaknāhāwhich We have destroyed,
21:95:5ʾannahumthat they
21:95:7yarjiʕūnᵃwill return.
۝٩٥
And there is prohibition upon [the people of] a city which We have destroyed that they will [ever] return
21:96:3futiḥathas been opened
21:96:4yaʾjūjᵘ(for) the Yajuj
21:96:5wamaʾjūjᵘand Majuj,
21:96:6wahumand they
21:96:8kullⁱevery
21:96:9ḥadabⁱⁿelevation
21:96:10yansilūnᵃdescend.
۝٩٦
Until when [the dam of] Gog and Magog has been opened and they, from every elevation, descend
21:97:1waᵢqtarabᵃAnd has approached
21:97:2ₐlwaʕdᵘthe promise
21:97:3ₐlḥaqqᵘ[the] true
21:97:4faʾiðāthen behold,
21:97:5hīᵃ[it]
21:97:6šāḫiṣaẗᵘⁿ(are) staring
21:97:7ʾabṣārᵘ(the) eyes
21:97:8ₐllaðīnᵃ(of) those who
21:97:9kafarūdisbelieved,
21:97:10yāwaylanā"O woe to us!
21:97:12kunnāwe had been
21:97:14ġaflaẗⁱⁿheedlessness
21:97:19ẓālimīnᵃwrongdoers."
۝٩٧
And [when] the true promise has approached; then suddenly the eyes of those who disbelieved will be staring [in horror, while they say], "O woe to us; we had been unmindful of this; rather, we were wrongdoers."
21:98:1ʾinnakumIndeed, you
21:98:2wamāand what
21:98:3taʕbudūnᵃyou worship
21:98:4minbesides Allah
21:98:7ḥaṣabᵘ(are) firewood
21:98:8jahannamᵃ(of) Hell.
21:98:11wāridūnᵃwill come.
۝٩٨
Indeed, you [disbelievers] and what you worship other than Allah are the firewood of Hell. You will be coming to [enter] it.
21:99:4ʾālihaẗᵃⁿgods,
21:99:6waradūhāthey (would) have come to it.
21:99:7wakullᵘⁿAnd all
21:99:8fīhātherein
21:99:9ḫālidūnᵃwill abide forever.
۝٩٩
Had these [false deities] been [actual] gods, they would not have come to it, but all are eternal therein.
21:100:3zafīrᵘⁿ(is) sighing,
21:100:7yasmaʕūnᵃwill hear.
۝١٠٠
For them therein is heavy sighing, and they therein will not hear.
21:101:1ʾinnᵃIndeed,
21:101:2ₐllaðīnᵃthose
21:101:3sabaqathas gone forth
21:101:4lahumfor them
21:101:9mubʕadūnᵃ(will be) removed far.
۝١٠١
Indeed, those for whom the best [reward] has preceded from Us - they are from it far removed.
21:102:2yasmaʕūnᵃthey will hear
21:102:3ḥasīsahā(the) slightest sound of it
21:102:8ʾanfusuhumtheir souls
21:102:9ḫālidūnᵃwill abide forever.
۝١٠٢
They will not hear its sound, while they are, in that which their souls desire, abiding eternally.
21:103:2yaḥzunuhumᵘwill grieve them
21:103:3ₐlfazaʕᵘthe terror
21:103:4ₐlʾakbarᵘ[the] greatest,
21:103:5watatalaqqāhumᵘand will meet them
21:103:6ₐlmalāʾikaẗᵘthe Angels,
21:103:8yawmukumᵘ(is) your Day
21:103:9ₐllaðīwhich
21:103:11tūʕadūnᵃpromised."
۝١٠٣
They will not be grieved by the greatest terror, and the angels will meet them, [saying], "This is your Day which you have been promised" -
21:104:1yawmᵃ(The) Day
21:104:2naṭwīWe will fold
21:104:3ₐlssamāʾᵃthe heaven
21:104:4kaṭayyⁱlike (the) folding
21:104:5ₐlssijillⁱ(of) a scroll
21:104:6lilkutubⁱfor records.
21:104:9ʾawwalᵃ(the) first
21:104:10ḫalqⁱⁿcreation
21:104:11nnuʕīduhuWe will repeat it,
21:104:12waʕdaⁿa promise
21:104:14ʾinnāIndeed, We -
21:104:16fāʕilīnᵃ(the) Doers.
۝١٠٤
The Day when We will fold the heaven like the folding of a [written] sheet for the records. As We began the first creation, We will repeat it. [That is] a promise binding upon Us. Indeed, We will do it.
21:105:1walaqadAnd verily,
21:105:2katabnāWe have written
21:105:4ₐlzzabūrⁱthe Scripture
21:105:5minᵐafter
21:105:7ₐlððikrⁱthe mention,
21:105:8ʾannᵃthat
21:105:9ₐlʾarḍᵃthe earth -
21:105:10yariθuhāwill inherit it
21:105:11ʕibādīᵃMy slaves,
21:105:12ₐlṣṣāliḥūnᵃthe righteous.
۝١٠٥
And We have already written in the book [of Psalms] after the [previous] mention that the land [of Paradise] is inherited by My righteous servants.
21:106:1ʾinnᵃIndeed,
21:106:4labalāġaⁿsurely is a Message
21:106:5lliqawmⁱⁿfor a people,
21:106:6ʕābidīnᵃworshippers.
۝١٠٦
Indeed, in this [Qur'an] is notification for a worshipping people.
21:107:2ʾarsalnākᵃWe have sent you
21:107:4raḥmaẗᵃⁿ(as) a mercy
21:107:5llilʕālamīnᵃfor the worlds.
۝١٠٧
And We have not sent you, [O Muhammad], except as a mercy to the worlds.
21:108:3yūḥāit is revealed
21:108:4ʾilayyᵃto me
21:108:7ʾilāhᵘⁿ(is) God
21:108:8wāḥidᵘⁿOne;
21:108:11mmuslimūnᵃsubmit (to Him)?"
۝١٠٨
Say, "It is only revealed to me that your god is but one God; so will you be Muslims [in submission to Him]?"
21:109:1faʾinBut if
21:109:2tawallawthey turn away
21:109:3faqulthen say,
21:109:4ʾāðantukum"I (have) announced to you
21:109:9ʾaqarībᵘⁿwhether is near
21:109:11baʕīdᵘⁿfar
21:109:13tūʕadūnᵃyou are promised.
۝١٠٩
But if they turn away, then say, "I have announced to [all of] you equally. And I know not whether near or far is that which you are promised.
21:110:1ʾinnahuIndeed, He
21:110:3ₐljahrᵃthe declared
21:110:5ₐlqawlⁱ[the] speech
21:110:6wayaʕlamᵘand He knows
21:110:8taktumūnᵃyou conceal.
۝١١٠
Indeed, He knows what is declared of speech, and He knows what you conceal.
21:111:3laʕallahuperhaps it may be
21:111:4fitnaẗᵘⁿa trial
21:111:6wamatāʕᵘⁿand an enjoyment
21:111:8ḥīnⁱⁿa time."
۝١١١
And I know not; perhaps it is a trial for you and enjoyment for a time."
21:112:1qālᵃHe said,
21:112:2rabbⁱ"My Lord!
21:112:3ᵤḥkumjudge
21:112:4biₐlḥaqqⁱin truth.
21:112:5warabbunāAnd our Lord
21:112:6ₐlrraḥmānᵘ(is) the Most Gracious,
21:112:7ₐlmustaʕānᵘthe One Whose help is sought
21:112:10taṣifūnᵃyou attribute."
۝١١٢
[The Prophet] has said, "My Lord, judge [between us] in truth. And our Lord is the Most Merciful, the one whose help is sought against that which you describe."
