Did We not expand for you, [O Muhammad], your breast?
And We removed from you your burden
Which had weighed upon your back
94:4:1 warafaʕnā And We raised high ٤
And raised high for you your repute.
For indeed, with hardship [will be] ease.
Indeed, with hardship [will be] ease.
94:7:2 faraġtᵃ you have finished ٧
So when you have finished [your duties], then stand up [for worship].
94:8:3 faᵢrġab turn your attention. ٨
And to your Lord direct [your] longing.
95:1:2 waₐlzzaytūnⁱ and the olive, ١
By the fig and the olive
And [by] this secure city [Makkah],
We have certainly created man in the best of stature;
95:5:2 radadnāhᵘ We returned him ٥
Then We return him to the lowest of the low,
95:6:5 ₐlṣṣāliḥātⁱ righteous deeds, ٦
Except for those who believe and do righteous deeds, for they will have a reward uninterrupted.
95:7:2 yukaððibukᵃ causes you to deny ٧
So what yet causes you to deny the Recompense?
95:8:3 biʾaḥkamⁱ (the) Most Just 95:8:4 ₐlḥākimīnᵃ (of) the Judges? ٨
Is not Allah the most just of judges?
Recite in the name of your Lord who created -
96:2:4 ʕalaqⁱⁿ a clinging substance. ٢
Created man from a clinging substance.
96:3:3 ₐlʾakramᵘ (is) the Most Generous, ٣
Recite, and your Lord is the most Generous -
Taught man that which he knew not.
96:6:4 layaṭġā surely transgresses, ٦
No! [But] indeed, man transgresses
Because he sees himself self-sufficient.
96:8:4 ₐlrrujʕā (is) the return. ٨
Indeed, to your Lord is the return.
Have you seen the one who forbids
Have you seen if he is upon guidance
96:12:3 biₐlttaqwā [of the] righteousness? ١٢
Or enjoins righteousness?
Have you seen if he denies and turns away -
Does he not know that Allah sees?
96:15:5 lanasfaʕᵃⁿᵐā surely We will drag him 96:15:6 biₐlnnāṣiyaẗⁱ by the forelock, ١٥
No! If he does not desist, We will surely drag him by the forelock -
A lying, sinning forelock.
Then let him call his associates;
96:18:2 ₐlzzabāniyaẗᵃ the Angels of Hell. ١٨
We will call the angels of Hell.
96:19:5 waᵢqtarib and draw near (to Allah). ١٩
No! Do not obey him. But prostrate and draw near [to Allah].
Indeed, We sent the Qur'an down during the Night of Decree.
97:2:2 ʾadrākᵃ can make you know ٢
And what can make you know what is the Night of Decree?
The Night of Decree is better than a thousand months.
97:4:5 biʾiðnⁱ by (the) permission 97:4:6 rabbihim (of) their Lord, ٤
The angels and the Spirit descend therein by permission of their Lord for every matter.
Peace it is until the emergence of dawn.
98:1:8 waₐlmušrikīnᵃ and the polytheists, 98:1:9 munfakkīnᵃ to be abandoned 98:1:11 taʾtiyahumᵘ (there) comes to them 98:1:12 ₐlbayyinaẗᵘ the clear evidence, ١
Those who disbelieved among the People of the Scripture and the polytheists were not to be parted [from misbelief] until there came to them clear evidence -
A Messenger from Allah, reciting purified scriptures
Within which are correct writings.
98:4:11 ₐlbayyinaẗᵘ (of) the clear evidence. ٤
Nor did those who were given the Scripture become divided until after there had come to them clear evidence.
98:5:2 ʾumirū they were commanded 98:5:6 muḫliṣīnᵃ (being) sincere 98:5:8 ₐlddīnᵃ (in) the religion, ٥
And they were not commanded except to worship Allah, [being] sincere to Him in religion, inclining to truth, and to establish prayer and to give zakah. And that is the correct religion.
98:6:7 waₐlmušrikīnᵃ and the polytheists 98:6:16 ₐlbariyyaẗⁱ (of) the creatures. ٦
Indeed, they who disbelieved among the People of the Scripture and the polytheists will be in the fire of Hell, abiding eternally therein. Those are the worst of creatures.
98:7:5 ₐlṣṣāliḥātⁱ righteous deeds, 98:7:9 ₐlbariyyaẗⁱ (of) the creatures. ٧
Indeed, they who have believed and done righteous deeds - those are the best of creatures.
98:8:16 waraḍū and they (will be) pleased ٨
Their reward with Allah will be gardens of perpetual residence beneath which rivers flow, wherein they will abide forever, Allah being pleased with them and they with Him. That is for whoever has feared his Lord.
99:1:4 zilzālahā (with) its earthquake, ١
When the earth is shaken with its [final] earthquake
99:2:1 waʾaḫrajatⁱ And brings forth ٢
And the earth discharges its burdens
And man says, "What is [wrong] with it?" -
That Day, it will report its news
Because your Lord has commanded it.
99:6:4 ʾaštātaⁿ (in) scattered groups ٦
That Day, the people will depart separated [into categories] to be shown [the result of] their deeds.
99:7:3 miθqālᵃ (equal to the) weight ٧
So whoever does an atom's weight of good will see it,
99:8:3 miθqālᵃ (equal to the) weight ٨
And whoever does an atom's weight of evil will see it.
100:2:1 faₐlmūriyātⁱ And the producers of sparks, ٢
And the producers of sparks [when] striking
100:3:1 faₐlmuġīrātⁱ And the chargers ٣
And the chargers at dawn,
Stirring up thereby [clouds of] dust,
100:5:1 fawasaṭnᵃ Then penetrate (in the) center ٥
Arriving thereby in the center collectively,
100:6:4 lakanūdᵘⁿ (is) surely ungrateful. ٦
Indeed mankind, to his Lord, is ungrateful.
100:7:4 lašahīdᵘⁿ surely (is) a witness, ٧
And indeed, he is to that a witness.
100:8:4 lašadīdᵘⁿ (is) surely intense. ٨
And indeed he is, in love of wealth, intense.
