بِسْمِ ٱللَّهِ ٱلرَّحْمَٰنِ ٱلرَّحِيمِ
25:1:1tabārakᵃBlessed is He
25:1:3nazzalᵃsent down
25:1:4ₐlfurqānᵃthe Criterion
25:1:6ʕabdihiHis slave
25:1:7liyakūnᵃthat he may be
25:1:8lilʕālamīnᵃto the worlds
25:1:9naðīraⁿa warner -
۝١
Blessed is He who sent down the Criterion upon His Servant that he may be to the worlds a warner -
25:2:1ₐllaðīThe One Who -
25:2:2lahuto Him (belongs)
25:2:3mulkᵘ(the) dominion
25:2:4ₐlssamāwātⁱ(of) the heavens
25:2:5waₐlʾarḍⁱand the earth,
25:2:6walamand not
25:2:7yattaḫiðHe has taken
25:2:8waladaⁿa son,
25:2:9walamand not
25:2:12šarīkᵘⁿa partner
25:2:14ₐlmulkⁱthe dominion
25:2:15waḫalaqᵃand He (has) created
25:2:16kullᵃevery
25:2:17šayʾⁱⁿthing,
25:2:18faqaddarahuand determined it
25:2:19taqdīraⁿ(with) determination.
۝٢
He to whom belongs the dominion of the heavens and the earth and who has not taken a son and has not had a partner in dominion and has created each thing and determined it with [precise] determination.
25:3:1waᵢttaḫaðūYet they have taken
25:3:2minbesides Him
25:3:4ʾālihaẗᵃⁿgods
25:3:6yaḫluqūnᵃthey create
25:3:7šayʾaⁿanything,
25:3:8wahumwhile they
25:3:9yuḫlaqūnᵃare created,
25:3:10walāand not
25:3:11yamlikūnᵃthey possess
25:3:12liʾanfusihimfor themselves
25:3:13ḍarraⁿany harm
25:3:14walāand not
25:3:15nafʕaⁿany benefit,
25:3:16walāand not
25:3:17yamlikūnᵃthey control
25:3:19walāand not
25:3:20ḥayawẗᵃⁿlife
25:3:21walāand not
25:3:22nušūraⁿresurrection.
۝٣
But they have taken besides Him gods which create nothing, while they are created, and possess not for themselves any harm or benefit and possess not [power to cause] death or life or resurrection.
25:4:1waqālᵃAnd say
25:4:2ₐllaðīnᵃthose who
25:4:3kafarūdisbelieve,
25:4:6ʾillā(is) but
25:4:7ʾifkᵘⁿa lie,
25:4:8ᵢftarāhᵘhe invented it
25:4:9waʾaʕānahuand helped him
25:4:11qawmᵘⁿpeople
25:4:12ʾāḫarūnᵃother."
25:4:13faqadBut verily,
25:4:14jāʾūthey (have) produced
25:4:15ẓulmaⁿan injustice
25:4:16wazūraⁿand a lie.
۝٤
And those who disbelieve say, "This [Qur'an] is not except a falsehood he invented, and another people assisted him in it." But they have committed an injustice and a lie.
25:5:1waqālūAnd they say,
25:5:2ʾasāṭīrᵘ"Tales
25:5:3ₐlʾawwalīnᵃ(of) the former people
25:5:4ᵢktatabahāwhich he has had written
25:5:5fahīᵃand they
25:5:6tumlāare dictated
25:5:7ʕalayhⁱto him
25:5:8bukraẗᵃⁿmorning
25:5:9waʾaṣīlaⁿand evening."
۝٥
And they say, "Legends of the former peoples which he has written down, and they are dictated to him morning and afternoon."
25:6:2ʾanzalahᵘ"Has sent it down
25:6:3ₐllaðīthe One Who
25:6:4yaʕlamᵘknows
25:6:5ₐlssirrᵃthe secret
25:6:7ₐlssamāwātⁱthe heavens
25:6:8waₐlʾarḍⁱand the earth.
25:6:9ʾinnahuIndeed, He
25:6:11ġafūraⁿOft-Forgiving,
25:6:12rraḥīmaⁿMost Merciful."
۝٦
Say, [O Muhammad], "It has been revealed by He who knows [every] secret within the heavens and the earth. Indeed, He is ever Forgiving and Merciful."
25:7:1waqālūAnd they say,
25:7:2mālⁱ"Why does
25:7:4ₐlrrasūlⁱMessenger
25:7:6ₐlṭṭaʕāmᵃ[the] food
25:7:7wayamšīand walk

25:7:11ʾunzilᵃis sent down
25:7:12ʾilayhⁱto him
25:7:13malakᵘⁿan Angel
25:7:14fayakūnᵃthen he be
25:7:15maʕahuwith him
25:7:16naðīraⁿa warner?
۝٧
And they say, "What is this messenger that eats food and walks in the markets? Why was there not sent down to him an angel so he would be with him a warner?
25:8:2yulqāis delivered
25:8:3ʾilayhⁱto him
25:8:4kanzᵘⁿa treasure
25:8:7lahufor him
25:8:8jannaẗᵘⁿa garden,
25:8:9yaʾkulᵘhe may eat
25:8:10minhāfrom it?
25:8:11waqālᵃAnd say
25:8:12ₐlẓẓālimūnᵃthe wrongdoers,
25:8:14tattabiʕūnᵃyou follow
25:8:16rajulaⁿa man
25:8:17mmasḥūraⁿbewitched."
۝٨
Or [why is not] a treasure presented to him [from heaven], or does he [not] have a garden from which he eats?" And the wrongdoers say, "You follow not but a man affected by magic."
25:9:1ᵤnẓurSee
25:9:3ḍarabūthey set forth
25:9:4lakᵃfor you
25:9:5ₐlʾamθālᵃthe similitudes,
25:9:6faḍallūbut they have gone astray,
25:9:7falāso not
25:9:8yastaṭīʕūnᵃthey are able (to find)
25:9:9sabīlaⁿa way.
۝٩
Look how they strike for you comparisons; but they have strayed, so they cannot [find] a way.
25:10:1tabārakᵃBlessed is He
25:10:4šāʾᵃHe willed
25:10:5jaʕalᵃ(could have) made
25:10:6lakᵃfor you
25:10:7ḫayraⁿbetter
25:10:9ðālikᵃthat -
25:10:10jannātⁱⁿgardens -
25:10:13taḥtihāunderneath it
25:10:14ₐlʾanhārᵘthe rivers
25:10:15wayajʕaland He (could) make
25:10:16llakᵃfor you
25:10:17quṣūrᵃⁿᵐāpalaces.
۝١٠
Blessed is He who, if He willed, could have made for you [something] better than that - gardens beneath which rivers flow - and could make for you palaces.
25:11:2kaððabūthey deny
25:11:3biₐlssāʕaẗⁱthe Hour
25:11:4waʾaʕtadnāand We have prepared
25:11:5limanfor (those) who
25:11:6kaððabᵃdeny
25:11:7biₐlssāʕaẗⁱthe Hour,
25:11:8saʕīraⁿa Blazing Fire.
۝١١
But they have denied the Hour, and We have prepared for those who deny the Hour a Blaze.
25:12:2raʾathumit sees them
25:12:4mmakānⁱⁿa place
25:12:5baʕīdⁱⁿfar,
25:12:6samiʕūthey will hear
25:12:8taġayyuẓaⁿraging
25:12:9wazafīraⁿand roaring.
۝١٢
When the Hellfire sees them from a distant place, they will hear its fury and roaring.
25:13:1waʾiðāAnd when
25:13:2ʾulqūthey are thrown
25:13:4makānaⁿ(in) a place
25:13:5ḍayyiqaⁿnarrow
25:13:6mmuqarranīnᵃbound in chains,
25:13:7daʕawthey will call
25:13:9θubūraⁿ(for) destruction.
۝١٣
And when they are thrown into a narrow place therein bound in chains, they will cry out thereupon for destruction.
25:14:1llā"(Do) not
25:14:3ₐlyawmᵃthis day
25:14:4θubūraⁿ(for) destruction
25:14:5wāḥidaⁿone,
25:14:6waᵤdʕūbut call
25:14:7θubūraⁿ(for) destructions
25:14:8kaθīraⁿmany."
۝١٤
[They will be told], "Do not cry this Day for one destruction but cry for much destruction."
25:15:2ʾaðālikᵃ"Is that
25:15:3ḫayrᵘⁿbetter
25:15:5jannaẗᵘGarden
25:15:6ₐlḫuldⁱ(of) Eternity,
25:15:7ₐllatīwhich
25:15:8wuʕidᵃis promised
25:15:9ₐlmuttaqūnᵃ(to) the righteous?
25:15:10kānatIt will be
25:15:12jazāʾᵃⁿa reward
25:15:13wamaṣīraⁿand destination.
۝١٥
Say, "Is that better or the Garden of Eternity which is promised to the righteous? It will be for them a reward and destination.
25:16:1llahumFor them
25:16:2fīhātherein
25:16:3(is) whatever
25:16:4yašāʾūnᵃthey wish,
25:16:5ḫālidīnᵃthey will abide forever.
25:16:6kānᵃIt is
25:16:8rabbikᵃyour Lord
25:16:9waʕdaⁿa promise
25:16:10mmasʾūlaⁿrequested."
۝١٦
For them therein is whatever they wish, [while] abiding eternally. It is ever upon your Lord a promise [worthy to be] requested.
25:17:1wayawmᵃAnd (the) Day
25:17:2yaḥšuruhumHe will gather them
25:17:3wamāand what
25:17:4yaʕbudūnᵃthey worship
25:17:5minbesides Allah
25:17:8fayaqūlᵘand He will say,
25:17:9ʾaʾantum"Did you
25:17:10ʾaḍlaltum[you] mislead
25:17:11ʕibādīMy slaves
25:17:15ḍallūwent astray
25:17:16ₐlssabīlᵃ(from) the way?"
۝١٧
And [mention] the Day He will gather them and that which they worship besides Allah and will say, "Did you mislead these, My servants, or did they [themselves] stray from the way?"
25:18:2subḥānakᵃ"Glory be to You!
25:18:4kānᵃit was proper
25:18:8nnattaḫiðᵃwe take
25:18:9minbesides You
25:18:12ʾawliyāʾᵃprotectors.
25:18:14mmattaʕtahumYou gave them comforts
25:18:15waʾābāʾahumand their forefathers
25:18:17nasūthey forgot
25:18:18ₐlððikrᵃthe Message
25:18:20qawmᵃⁿᵐāa people
25:18:21būraⁿruined."
۝١٨
They will say, "Exalted are You! It was not for us to take besides You any allies. But You provided comforts for them and their fathers until they forgot the message and became a people ruined."
25:19:1faqad"So verily,
25:19:2kaððabūkumthey deny you
25:19:3bimāin what
25:19:4taqūlūnᵃyou say,
25:19:6tastaṭīʕūnᵃyou are able
25:19:7ṣarfaⁿ(to) avert
25:19:8walāand not
25:19:9naṣraⁿ(to) help."
25:19:10wamanAnd whoever
25:19:11yaẓlimdoes wrong
25:19:12mminkumamong you,
25:19:13nuðiqhᵘWe will make him taste
25:19:14ʕaðābaⁿa punishment
25:19:15kabīraⁿgreat.
۝١٩
So they will deny you, [disbelievers], in what you say, and you cannot avert [punishment] or [find] help. And whoever commits injustice among you - We will make him taste a great punishment.
25:20:3qablakᵃbefore you
25:20:5ₐlmursalīnᵃMessengers
25:20:7ʾinnahumindeed, they
25:20:8layaʾkulūnᵃ[surely] ate
25:20:9ₐlṭṭaʕāmᵃfood
25:20:10wayamšūnᵃand walked
25:20:12ₐlʾaswāqⁱthe markets.
25:20:13wajaʕalnāAnd We have made
25:20:14baʕḍakumsome of you
25:20:15libaʕḍⁱⁿfor others
25:20:16fitnaẗᵃⁿa trial,
25:20:17ʾataṣbirūnᵃwill you have patience?
25:20:18wakānᵃAnd is
25:20:19rabbukᵃyour Lord
25:20:20baṣīraⁿAll-Seer.
۝٢٠
And We did not send before you, [O Muhammad], any of the messengers except that they ate food and walked in the markets. And We have made some of you [people] as trial for others - will you have patience? And ever is your Lord, Seeing.
