17:99:4ₐllahᵃAllah,

17:99:14wajaʕalᵃAnd He has made

۝٩٩
Do they not see that Allah, who created the heavens and earth, is [the one] Able to create the likes of them? And He has appointed for them a term, about which there is no doubt. But the wrongdoers refuse [anything] except disbelief.
17:100:5ḫazāʾinᵃthe treasures

17:100:7rabbī(of) my Lord,
17:100:8ʾiðaⁿthen

17:100:14qatūraⁿstingy.
۝١٠٠
Say [to them], "If you possessed the depositories of the mercy of my Lord, then you would withhold out of fear of spending." And ever has man been stingy.
17:101:1walaqadAnd certainly
17:101:2ʾātaynāWe had given
17:101:5ʾāyātⁱⁿSigns
17:101:6bayyinātⁱⁿclear,
17:101:8banī(the) Children of Israel
17:101:11jāʾahumhe came to them,
17:101:12faqālᵃthen said

17:101:16laʾaẓunnukᵃ[I] think you -
17:101:18masḥūraⁿ(you are) bewitched."
۝١٠١
And We had certainly given Moses nine evident signs, so ask the Children of Israel [about] when he came to them and Pharaoh said to him, "Indeed I think, O Moses, that you are affected by magic."
17:102:1qālᵃHe said,
17:102:3ʕalimtᵃyou have known
17:102:5ʾanzalᵃhas sent down
17:102:8rabbᵘ(the) Lord

17:102:11baṣāʾirᵃ(as) evidence,
17:102:12waʾinnīand indeed, I
17:102:13laʾaẓunnukᵃ[I] surely think you
17:102:15maθbūraⁿ(you are) destroyed."
۝١٠٢
[Moses] said, "You have already known that none has sent down these [signs] except the Lord of the heavens and the earth as evidence, and indeed I think, O Pharaoh, that you are destroyed."
17:103:1faʾarādᵃSo he intended
17:103:3yastafizzahumdrive them out
17:103:5ₐlʾarḍⁱthe land,
17:103:6faʾaġraqnāhᵘbut We drowned him
17:103:7wamanand who
17:103:8mmaʕahu(were) with him
۝١٠٣
So he intended to drive them from the land, but We drowned him and those with him all together.
17:104:1waqulnāAnd We said
17:104:2minᵐafter him
17:104:4libanīto the Children of Israel,

۝١٠٤
And We said after Pharaoh to the Children of Israel, "Dwell in the land, and when there comes the promise of the Hereafter, We will bring you forth in [one] gathering."
17:105:1wabiₐlḥaqqⁱAnd with the truth
17:105:2ʾanzalnāhᵘWe sent it down,
17:105:3wabiₐlḥaqqⁱand with the truth

17:105:6ʾarsalnākᵃWe sent you
17:105:8mubašširaⁿ(as) a bearer of glad tidings

۝١٠٥
And with the truth We have sent the Qur'an down, and with the truth it has descended. And We have not sent you, [O Muhammad], except as a bringer of good tidings and a warner.
17:106:1waqurʾānaⁿAnd the Quran
17:106:2faraqnāhᵘWe have divided,
17:106:3litaqraʾahuthat you might recite it

17:111:1waqulⁱAnd say,

۝٤
And to warn those who say, "Allah has taken a son."
18:5:2lahumthey have

They have no knowledge of it, nor had their fathers. Grave is the word that comes out of their mouths; they speak not except a lie.
18:6:1falaʕallakᵃThen perhaps you would (be)

Then perhaps you would kill yourself through grief over them, [O Muhammad], if they do not believe in this message, [and] out of sorrow.
18:7:1ʾinnāIndeed, We
18:7:2jaʕalnāWe have made

۝٧
Indeed, We have made that which is on the earth adornment for it that We may test them [as to] which of them is best in deed.
18:8:1waʾinnāAnd indeed, We

18:9:2ḥasibtᵃhave you thought

Or have you thought that the companions of the cave and the inscription were, among Our signs, a wonder?
18:10:2ʾawāretreated

۝١٠
[Mention] when the youths retreated to the cave and said, "Our Lord, grant us from Yourself mercy and prepare for us from our affair right guidance."
18:11:1faḍarabnāSo We cast

18:11:5ₐlkahfⁱthe cave
18:11:6sinīnᵃyears -
18:11:7ʕadadaⁿa number.
۝١١
So We cast [a cover of sleep] over their ears within the cave for a number of years.
18:12:1θummᵃThen
18:12:2baʕaθnāhumWe raised them up
18:12:3linaʕlamᵃthat We make evident

18:12:5ₐlḥizbaynⁱ(of) the two parties

۝١٢
Then We awakened them that We might show which of the two factions was most precise in calculating what [extent] they had remained in time.
18:13:2naquṣṣᵘnarrate

۝١٣
It is We who relate to you, [O Muhammad], their story in truth. Indeed, they were youths who believed in their Lord, and We increased them in guidance.

۝١٦
[The youths said to one another], "And when you have withdrawn from them and that which they worship other than Allah, retreat to the cave. Your Lord will spread out for you of His mercy and will prepare for you from your affair facility."
